* North Garden, Va.-based Old Dominion National Bank named Sushil Clarence executive vice president for its government and technology banking group. Clarence was executive vice president and manager of the government and technology group at Cardinal Bank, which was acquired by Charleston, W.Va.-based United Bankshares Inc. in April.

Also, Old Dominion National Bank named Raj Mahajan executive vice president of mortgage lending. Mahajan was vice president and senior mortgage banker at Bethesda, Md.-based EagleBank, a unit of Eagle Bancorp Inc.

* Dieterich Bank NA appointed Pam Hemmen to its board, The Effingham (Ill.) Daily News reported.

Hemmen is Patterson Cos. Inc.'s vice president of technology services and dental professional relations.

The Dieterich, Ill.-based bank is a unit of Prime Banc Corp.

* Mike Doyle retired from the board of State Bank of Toledo, according to a report published on The Toledo Chronicle.

His son, Tim Doyle, was appointed to the open director's post at the Toledo, Iowa-based bank, a unit of Tama County Abstract Co.
