Warner Bros. Pictures promoted JP Richards to executive vice president of worldwide marketing and chief data strategist.
Richards will work with President of Worldwide Marketing Blair Rich to develop and execute the studio's marketing endeavors. Further, Richards will help set the marketing strategy for the Time Warner Inc. division's releases. He also will oversee data strategies, data-driven media, audience intelligence and new ways to the use of data in marketing for all the film releases, including Warner Bros. and New Line Cinema titles.
Richards, who joined Warner Bros. in 2015, previously served as executive vice president of worldwide digital marketing for Warner Bros. Pictures. Prior to joining Warner Bros., he served for 12 years at Comcast Corp.'s Universal Pictures.
