Brooks Brothers pays $106M for Manhattan, NY, office building

Apparel retailer Brooks Brothers bought the 11 E. 44th St. office building in Manhattan, N.Y.'s Midtown East for $105.8 million from Aion Partners, The Real Deal reported, citing property records.

Brooks Brothers is the largest tenant in the 135,000-square-foot building, occupying more than 40,000 square feet. The property also serves as Aion's headquarters, according to the Jan. 10 report.

The buyer and seller did not respond to requests for comment, the report added.
