Japan's Higo Bank appoints new president

Japan-based Higo Bank Ltd. appointed Yoshihisa Kasahara its new president, effective June 26.

The bank said March 8 that Kasahara currently serves as vice president. Takahiro Kai, the bank's current president, will become chairman at the same time.

Higo Bank is a unit of Kyushu Financial Group Inc.
