Nelson applies for new gold tenements in Western Australia

Nelson Resources Ltd. applied for new tenements E28/2873 and E28/2874 close to its Socrates and Grindall gold projects in Western Australia.

If granted, the tenement applications, to be called the Redmill project, will take the company's landholding to about 450 square kilometers, from 150 square kilometers, according to the Jan. 18 release.

Meanwhile, the company relinquished its Woolshed Well tenements P37/8597, P37/8598, P37/8599, and P37/8600, saying that they are not expected to deliver any value.
