DISH unveils new remote app

DISH Network Corp. has launched a new app that lets business owners control multiple televisions using a single interface through Apple Inc.'s iPad and Alphabet Inc.-owned Google LLC's Android tablets.

DISH OnePoint allows users to manage large entertainment systems at places installed with DISH set-top boxes, such as waiting rooms, fitness centers, restaurants and bars.

The interactive app is available at no additional cost on select iPad and Android tablets. It is compatible with DISH's set-top box for businesses, Wally, as well as with its Hopper and Joey receivers, when connected to the internet. Support for Hopper Duo will be available soon.
