Comcast Business unveils X1 for Hospitality

Comcast Corp. is rolling out a version of its X1 interactive TV platform for hotels, starting with the Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia owned by Comcast in partnership with Liberty Property Trust.

The X1 for Hospitality product will include about 300 channel options, a library of more than 50,000 TV shows and movies on demand, voice control, recordings and branded channels, among other features, the company said June 18. Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia at Comcast Center, in Center City, Philadelphia, will include X1 in each of its 219 guest rooms when it opens this winter.
