LiveXLive ropes in Viacom exec as chief creative officer

LiveXLive Media Inc. appointed Garrett English chief creative officer of the company.

English will oversee all content creation, serving as the executive producer of the company's existing slate of global live events and original series. English will also lead creative and content development and will oversee programming, including several linear channels launching in 2020, and lead LiveXLive's platforms talent and artist relations divisions, according to a Dec. 10 company release.

Most recently, English was at Viacom Inc., where he was executive vice president of live event programming, specials and news at MTV Live (US), VH1 (US), MTV2 (US) and LOGO (US).
