WH Group H1 profit climbs 34.6% YOY

WH Group Ltd. said its normalized net income for the first half was 4 cents per share, compared with the S&P Capital IQ consensus estimate of 4 cents per share.

EPS rose 34.5% year over year from 3 cents.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was $568.1 million, a gain of 34.6% from $422.1 million in the prior-year period.

Total revenue grew on an annual basis to $10.66 billion from $10.45 billion, and total operating expenses totaled $9.62 billion, compared with $9.58 billion in the prior-year period.

Reported net income grew year over year to $556.8 million, or 4 cents per share, from $550.5 million, or 4 cents per share.
