Saudi Arabian Oil Co. said operations were normal at its Shaybah natural gas liquids facility after a drone attack from Yemeni rebels.
Saudi Aramco's response team controlled a limited fire at the facility, according to an Aug. 17 news release from the oil giant.
There were no injuries and no interruptions to oil operations.
Yemen's Houthi rebel leader, Abdul Malik al-Houthi, claimed responsibility for the drone attack, Bloomberg reported Aug. 17.
Saudi Energy Minister Khalid Al-Falih confirmed the incident was a terrorist attack, Bloomberg said.
