Chicago-area industrial portfolio sells for $201M

Private equity company Taurus Investment Holdings LLC paid $201 million to acquire an industrial portfolio across the Chicago area from Venture One Real Estate LLC, The Real Deal reported.

With the acquisition of 51 buildings totaling 2.9 million square feet, the Boston-based company fully deployed its Taurus US Logistics Fund I LP. The fund was closed in April 2017 after accumulating equity commitments amounting to $157 million, according to the June 8 report.

The 92%-leased portfolio includes a 740,000-square-foot property at 120-230 Eisenhower Lane North in Lombard, a 130,000-square-foot asset at 4201 West Victoria in Chicago and a 117,000-square-foot building at 800 North Commerce in Aurora.
