Nordex to supply 99 MW of wind turbines in Argentina

AES Argentina Generacion SA selected Nordex SE to supply and install 99 MW of wind turbines for its project in Argentina's Bahia Blanca province.

The German wind developer will deliver 30 units of its AW132/3300 turbine models, according to a Sept. 4 news release. Nordex will assemble the turbines and manufacture the concrete tower in Argentina.

The agreement also includes Nordex's multiyear services for the project.

AES Argentina Generación is a subsidiary of AES Corp.
