Tokyo Kiho Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal second quarter ended Sept. 30 came to ¥56.53 per share, a decline of 7.0% from ¥60.76 per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥25.0 million, a decline of 7.0% from ¥26.9 million in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin rose to 1.4% from 1.3% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue declined 8.4% year over year to ¥1.84 billion from ¥2.01 billion, and total operating expenses declined 7.2% year over year to ¥1.81 billion from ¥1.95 billion.
Reported net income decreased 7.1% year over year to ¥39.0 million, or ¥88.19 per share, from ¥42.0 million, or ¥94.95 per share.
As of Nov. 14, US$1 was equivalent to ¥116.46.
