Mustang delivers 1st batch of rubies to US customers

Mustang Resources Ltd. sent its first commercial batch of rubies, totaling 6,221 carats, including two rare 24-carat stones, to U.S. customers.

Meanwhile, the company completed the commissioning of the relocated processing plant at its Montepuez ruby project in Mozambique, with first sales revenue expected in the first half.

According to the Jan. 20 release, production will now ramp up to a targeted rate of 525 tonnes per day, a production rate three times that of the rates before the relocation.
