Deutsche Bank names head of CEEMEA local markets trading

Deutsche Bank AG appointed Aditya Singhal head of local markets trading for central and eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Bloomberg News reported Dec. 9, citing an internal memorandum, the contents of which were confirmed by Deutsche Bank spokesman Charlie Olivier.

Singhal, who is labelled as "one of the most profitable traders" at the lender's European credit business, helped oversee the sale of the bank's $1.1 trillion credit-default swaps portfolio to rival firms including Citigroup Inc. and JPMorgan Chase & Co.

Tijen Gumusdis, co-head of CEEMEA local markets, was named head of flow trading for the region, Bloomberg added.
