Orava Residential changes name

Orava Residential Real Estate Investment Trust PLC changed its name to Ovaro Kiinteistösijoitus Oyj and amended its articles of association.

The board of the Finland-based company proposed the changes in mid-August.

At an extraordinary general meeting held Sept. 10, the company eliminated Article 13 and amended Article 3 to reflect changes in the purpose of the company.

As per the amended article, the purpose of the company is to let apartments and real estate that it owns or possesses due to its shareholding; to engage in ordinary housing management and maintenance, focusing on its own property; to exercise construction contracting on the company's own behalf; and to finance all these operations.
