Exelon registers up to $388M worth of common stock

Exelon Corp. registered up to 10,714,766 common shares, to be offered through its direct stock purchase plan.

The shares, having a proposed maximum offering price of $36.20 per share, will have a maximum offering price of up to $387.9 million, according to a Feb. 12 automatic shelf registration statement.

The Chicago-headquartered power giant intends to use net proceeds to make additional investments in its subsidiaries and for other general corporate purposes.
