Food chain JV to roll out Domino's Pizza in Bangladesh

Food chain operators Jubilant FoodWorks Ltd. and Golden Harvest QSR Ltd., owned by diversified conglomerate Golden Harvest Group, agreed to form a joint venture to roll out Domino's Pizza Inc. restaurants in Bangladesh, the Indian company said in a March 6 release.

The new corporate entity, to be named Jubilant Golden Harvest Ltd., will be 51% owned by Jubilant FoodWorks, while the Bangladeshi subsidiary will own 49% of the joint venture.

Jubilant FoodWorks controls franchising operations for the Michigan-based pizza chain in India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal, as well as for the Dunkin' Brands Group Inc.-owned Dunkin' Donuts in India.
