HealthEquity issues fiscal 2020 outlook

HealthEquity Inc. has issued guidance for the fiscal year ending Jan. 31, 2020.

The company anticipates revenue to range from $333 million to $339 million; net income to be between $58 million and $62 million, or between 89 cents and 95 cents per share; non-GAAP net income to range from $80 million to $84 million, or $1.23 to $1.29 per share; and adjusted EBITDA to be between $133 million and $138 million.

For the fiscal year ended Jan. 31, 2019, HealthEquity reported revenue of $287.2 million; net income of $73.9 million, or $1.17 per share; non-GAAP net income of $76 million, or $1.19 per share; and adjusted EBITDA of $118.4 million.

In the fiscal year ended Jan. 31, 2018, the company reported net income of $47.4 million, or 77 cents per share.

HealthEquity reported fiscal fourth-quarter net income of $13.1 million, or 21 cents per share, compared to $5.9 million, or 9 cents per share, in the year-ago period. On a non-GAAP basis, it recorded net income of $17 million, or 27 cents per share.

The S&P Global Market Intelligence consensus normalized EPS estimates for fiscal fourth quarter and fiscal year 2019 were 22 cents and $1.16, respectively.
