MDU Resources acquires Wash. electrical construction company

MDU Resources Group Inc. announced Sept. 17 that it acquired Pride Electric Inc.'s assets for an undisclosed sum.

Pride Electric, a Redmond, Wash.-based construction company will be operated as a division of MDU Construction Services Group Inc.'s OEG Inc. subsidiary, according to a news release. OEG has operations in Washington, Oregon and California.

"Pride Electric will provide complementary electrical services in Seattle, Bellevue and Redmond," MDU Resources President and CEO David Goodin said.
