E-Life Mall Corp. said its first-quarter normalized net income was NT$1.11 per share, compared with the S&P Capital IQ consensus estimate of NT$1.44 per share.
EPS increased 9.3% year over year from NT$1.02.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was NT$111.3 million, an increase of 9.5% from NT$101.6 million in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin increased to 2.8% from 2.8% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue climbed 9.3% year over year to NT$3.99 billion from NT$3.65 billion, and total operating expenses increased 9.2% year over year to NT$3.83 billion from NT$3.51 billion.
Reported net income rose 9.1% year over year to NT$147.2 million, or NT$1.47 per share, from NT$135.0 million, or NT$1.35 per share.
As of May 13, US$1 was equivalent to NT$30.62.
