Narragansett Electric seeks power supply proposals in Rhode Island

Narragansett Electric Co. is seeking power supply proposals to provide standard-offer service for residential, commercial and industrial customers in Rhode Island.

The National Grid USA subsidiary seeks to procure 100% of the load for its industrial customers from July 1 to Sept. 30; 20% of the load for its residential and commercial customers from Oct. 1 to March 31, 2020; and 20% of the load for its residential and commercial customers from April 1, 2020, to Sept. 30, 2020.

Interested bidders should submit their respondent proposal information by 5 p.m. ET on March 22. Qualified bidders should provide indicative pricing by 10 a.m. ET on April 3 and final pricing by 10 a.m. ET on April 10. The company will announce winning bidders and execute confirmations no later than two business days after final pricing.
