Sphinx broadens Quebec portfolio with 2 new gold projects

Sphinx Resources Ltd. said Aug. 14 that it acquired the exploration-stage Soufflot and Patrie gold projects to broaden its portfolio in southwestern Quebec.

The company acquired Soufflot from Ressources Tranchemontagne by reimbursing the claim designation fees of the province's Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources.

Sphinx purchased Patrie directly from the ministry through map designation, except for two claims, which it acquired by refunding the ministry's fees.

In June, the company secured an option to acquire the gold-silver-copper-prospective Calumet-Nord project in Quebec from Ressources Tranchemontagne.
