With us Corp. said its normalized net income for the fiscal fourth quarter ended March 31 came to ¥22.65 per share, an increase of 59.2% from ¥14.23 per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥227.9 million, an increase of 59.2% from ¥143.1 million in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin increased to 6.1% from 3.7% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue declined year over year to ¥3.77 billion from ¥3.89 billion, and total operating expenses declined 8.2% from the prior-year period to ¥3.40 billion from ¥3.70 billion.
Reported net income came to a loss of ¥128.0 million, or a loss of ¥12.72 per share, compared to income of ¥299.0 million, or ¥29.72 per share, in the year-earlier period.
For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled ¥64.08 per share, an increase from ¥9.29 per share in the prior year.
Normalized net income was ¥644.8 million, an increase from ¥93.4 million in the prior year.
Full-year total revenue declined on an annual basis to ¥13.82 billion from ¥14.26 billion, and total operating expenses decreased 9.3% on an annual basis to ¥12.85 billion from ¥14.17 billion.
The company said reported net income totaled ¥362.0 million, or ¥35.98 per share, in the full year, compared with a loss of ¥40.0 million, or a loss of ¥3.98 per share, the prior year.
