Electric-vehicle software provider Driivz Inc. secured $12 million in a funding round led by U.K.-based Centrica PLC and Ombu Group.
Czech Republic-based CEZ Group's investment fund, Inven Capital, also participated. All three funds will gain a seat on Driivz's board, according to a Jan. 14 news release.
Driivz's cloud-based EV charging management platform supports a variety of charging station operations, including charging management and billing tools. It supports more than 80 charger types and is used by more than 300,000 drivers in Europe and the United States, according to Driivz.
