Vince Holding fiscal Q3 profit climbs 9.3% YOY

Vince Holding Corp. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Nov. 1 came to $3.68 per share, compared with the S&P Capital IQ consensus estimate of $3.27 per share.

EPS decreased 23.9% year over year from $4.83.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was $14.1 million, a gain of 9.3% from $12.9 million in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin dropped to 13.7% from 15.0% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue rose 20.0% year over year to $102.9 million from $85.8 million, and total operating expenses climbed 20.1% year over year to $78.1 million from $65.0 million.

Reported net income declined 18.9% year over year to $13.4 million, or $3.50 per share, from $16.5 million, or $6.20 per share.
