Torchmark looking to delist from London Stock Exchange

Torchmark Corp. plans to seek cancellation of its common stock listing on the London Stock Exchange.

Subject to the Financial Conduct Authority, the delisting will be effective Feb. 27. The company is looking to delist from the LSE given the limited number of shares traded on that exchange and the small number of shareholders outside the U.S.

Torchmark common shares will maintain their listing on the New York Stock Exchange.
