KB Financial Group nominates 4 nonexecutive directors

KB Financial Group Inc. nominated four nonexecutive directors, subject to shareholders' approval.

The company named Suk Ho Sonu, Myung Hee Choi, Kouwhan Jeong and SoonWon Kwon nonexecutive directors each for a term of two years, according to a Form 6-K statement filed Feb. 23.

Suk Ho Sonu is a visiting professor at the Seoul National University Business School while Myung Hee Choi is vice president at the Korea Internal Control Assessment Institute.

Kouwhan Jeong is president attorney at law at Nambujeil Law and Notary Office Inc., while SoonWon Kwon is a professor of business administration at the Sookmyung Women's University. The latter's nomination was proposed by the labor union of KB Financial unit KB Kookmin Bank and others.
