KeyHolder Inc. said its normalized net income for the fiscal first quarter ended June 30 was ¥1.48 per share, an increase of 26.1% from ¥1.17 per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥205.6 million, a gain of 26.1% from ¥163.1 million in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin increased to 3.6% from 3.0% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue grew year over year to ¥5.68 billion from ¥5.43 billion, and total operating expenses grew year over year to ¥5.32 billion from ¥5.14 billion.
Reported net income declined 9.7% from the prior-year period to ¥250.0 million, or ¥1.80 per share, from ¥277.0 million, or ¥1.99 per share.
As of Aug. 12, US$1 was equivalent to ¥102.19.
