Orchestra-Prémaman fiscal H2 profit climbs YOY

Orchestra-Prémaman SA said its normalized net income for the fiscal second half ended Feb. 28 came to 57 euro cents per share, an increase from 21 cents per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was €9.2 million, a gain from €3.4 million in the prior-year period.

Total revenue rose 9.9% year over year to €264.0 million from €240.2 million, and total operating expenses grew from the prior-year period to €243.7 million from €233.7 million.

Reported net income increased on an annual basis to €9.5 million, or 60 cents per share, from €3.7 million, or 23 cents per share.

For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled €1.03 per share, an increase of 74.0% from 59 cents per share in the prior year.

Normalized net income was €16.4 million, a gain of 74.0% from €9.4 million in the prior year.

Full-year total revenue increased 11.8% year over year to €513.2 million from €459.0 million, and total operating expenses rose 9.0% on an annual basis to €479.4 million from €439.8 million.

The company said reported net income rose year over year to €37.0 million, or €2.31 per share, in the full year, from €13.0 million, or 81 cents per share.
