Country Garden's FY'18 attributable profit grows 32.8% YOY

Country Garden Holdings Co. Ltd. said its profit attributable to owners of the company for the full year ended Dec. 31, 2018, totaled 34.62 billion yuan, a gain of 32.8% from the 26.06 billion yuan recorded in the prior-year period.

EPS for the comparable period grew 27.0% to 1.55 yuan from 1.22 yuan, while revenue rose 67.1% to 379.08 billion yuan from 226.90 billion yuan.

The Hong Kong-listed developer's operating profit increased on an annual basis to 77.02 billion yuan during the reporting year from 43.60 billion yuan, while its profit before income tax climbed year over year to 79.56 billion yuan to 46.52 billion yuan. Similarly, the company's total comprehensive income jumped during the comparable period to nearly 47.52 billion yuan from approximately 29.50 billion yuan.

Country Garden is proposing to pay a total final dividend of about 6.56 billion yuan, up from the 5.42 billion yuan paid in the year-ago period.

As of March 15, US$1 was equivalent to 6.71 yuan.
