Solar Capital Partners secures over $750M of commitments to private credit funds

Solar Capital Partners LLC has conducted the final closings for its SCP Private Credit Income Fund LP and SCP Private Credit Income BDC LLC.

Equity capital of more than $750 million was committed to the funds by access funds consisting of capital from Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC's private wealth management clients.

Both funds, managed by Solar Capital Partners, will invest in U.S. middle-market companies through directly originated senior secured cash flow loans, asset-based loans and life science loans.

With about $1.9 billion of investable capital, including expected leverage, the funds may coinvest with Solar Capital's other funds and accounts, including Solar Capital Ltd. and Solar Senior Capital Ltd.
