German developer sells 2 wind farms in Bavaria

Max Bögl OSTWIND GmbH in Germany announced Sept. 5 that it sold two wind facilities totaling 53 MW in Bavaria to Zurich-based IST3 Investmentstiftung.

The Reichertshüll and Workerszeller Forst wind facilities between Nuremberg and Ingolstadt supply power to more than 38,000 households in the region, according to a news release. The transaction was completed on Aug. 17.

The projects were developed by Regensburg-based OSTWIND AG and were built together with Max Bögl Group in 2017.
