Seria Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2014, was ¥27.18 per share, a gain from ¥26.57 per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥2.06 billion, a gain from ¥2.02 billion in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin fell to 6.6% from 6.9% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue increased 6.7% on an annual basis to ¥31.32 billion from ¥29.36 billion, and total operating expenses rose 7.4% from the prior-year period to ¥28.07 billion from ¥26.14 billion.
Reported net income grew 6.3% from the prior-year period to ¥2.06 billion, or ¥27.18 per share, from ¥1.94 billion, or ¥25.57 per share.
As of Feb. 10, US$1 was equivalent to ¥119.28.
