Banco de Crédito del Perú declares dividend payment

Banco de Crédito del Perú said that it will pay a cash dividend tied to its 2016 earnings in the amount of 1.46 billion Peruvian soles, or 20.70 céntimos per share.

The date of registration for the dividend payment will be on April 21 while the payment date will be on May 8.

The bank will also increase its capital by issuing 866,995,698 new shares with a par value of 1 sol each, according to a March 31 filing. The shares will be distributed pro rata to the shareholders in accordance with their shareholding, at a rate of 12.2693% of the new shares for each share.

As of March 31, US$1 was equivalent to 3.25 Peruvian soles.
