Senvion to supply 47.5 MW of wind turbines in Belgium, France, Portugal

Senvion SA entered into firm contracts in the fourth quarter to deliver 47.5 MW of wind turbines in Belgium, France and Portugal.

Under the agreement, the German turbine manufacturer will deliver four turbines to the EDF Luminus nv-owned Sint Gillis Waas wind project and to the Eoly-owned Rebaix wind farm in Belgium, according to a Dec. 12 release.

Senvion will deliver four turbines to the 13.6-MW Aschère-le-Marché wind facility owned by ČEZ Group in France and six turbines to EKZ's 20.4-MW Marvila II wind project in Portugal. EKZ is the utility of the Canton of Zurich, Switzerland.

Sint Gillis Waas and Rebaix are expected to be completed by summer 2019. Aschère-le-Marché is expected to begin commercial operations in the second half of 2019, and Marvila II is planned to come online in fall 2019.

Senvion will also provide maintenance services for 20 years for the Sint Gillis Waas, Rebaix and Aschère-le-Marché wind farms, and for 15 years with extensions of up to 25 years for the Marvila II wind project.
