Ex-LSE head named CEO of British asset manager CQS

Xavier Rolet will join British asset manager CQS (UK) LLP as CEO, succeeding Michael Hintze.

Rolet stepped down as CEO of London Stock Exchange Group PLC in November 2017 following a boardroom row. Rolet's appointment, which is subject to relevant regulatory approvals, is effective Jan. 14, 2019.

Meanwhile, Hintze will become group executive chairman of CQS. He will also continue as the asset manager's senior investment officer.
