Hamilton Lane launches Australia-focused investment fund

Hamilton Lane Inc. launched an Australia-focused private asset fund focused on secondary and direct private equity and private credit.

With a minimum investment of A$25,000, the vehicle gives Australian investors access to traditionally high-performing private markets through an Australian Unit Trust. Unlike a traditional illiquid private equity offering, the fund's structure gives investors limited liquidity through monthly applications and redemptions.

The Global Private Assets Fund has received over A$134 million from high-net-worth individuals to-date.

The firm has also appointed Anastasia Di Carlo as a principal, based in Sydney. She will oversee client relations. Prior to this, Di Carlo was an associate director in the investment team of Australian adviser Quentin Ayers.
