Kungsleden AB completed the issuance of its first green bond, amounting to 2.00 billion Swedish kronor, under its medium-term note program.
The two-tranche offering comprised 1.25 billion kronor of bonds with a floating coupon rate equal to the three-month Stockholm Interbank Offered Rate plus 205 basis points, reflecting a roughly 1.61% initial coupon, and 750 million kronor of bonds with a fixed coupon rate of 2.38%. Both tranches have a four-year term.
The diversified property company said it plans to list the bond loans on the Nasdaq Stockholm Sustainable Bonds List. SEB and Swedbank were the joint book runners for the issuance.
As of March 14, US$1 was equivalent to 8.18 Swedish kronor.
