Cerner's president to step down

Cerner Corp. said Zane Burke will step down as president, effective Nov. 2.

Missouri-based Cerner said Burke, who joined in 1996, was named president in 2013 after leading the company's client organization.

The company said John Peterzalek, executive vice president of worldwide client relationships, took over Burke's responsibilities and was named chief client officer, effective Sept. 10.

Cerner provides healthcare information technology solutions and services to clients worldwide.
