Inceptum Enterprises fiscal Q2 profit climbs YOY

Inceptum Enterprises Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal second quarter ended Sept. 30 amounted to 2 Indian paise per share, an increase of 46.6% from 1 paise per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 74,200 rupees, an increase from 31,080 rupees in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin increased to 2.2% from 1.4% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue climbed 56.8% on an annual basis to 3.4 million rupees from 2.1 million rupees, and total operating expenses climbed 54.8% from the prior-year period to 3.2 million rupees from 2.1 million rupees.

Reported net income rose year over year to 63,500 rupees, or 2 paise per share, from 30,310 rupees, or 1 paise per share.

As of Dec. 1, US$1 was equivalent to 61.95 Indian rupees.
