Dutch retail food store operator Koninklijke Ahold Delhaize NV repurchased 3,924,757 of its common shares between Feb. 27 and March 24.
The shares were bought at an average price of €20.2 each, for a total consideration of €79.3 million, Ahold Delhaize said.
The repurchases are part of the €1 billion share buyback program announced by the company Dec. 7, 2016.
A total of 13,278,226 common shares have been repurchased to date, for a total consideration of €266.7 million.
