DC Capital closes PE fund at $450M

DC Capital Partners Management LP has closed its DC Capital Partners Fund II LP at the hard cap of $450 million, exceeding its target of $350 million.

DC Capital's first institutionally backed private equity fund looks to invest in middle-market U.S. businesses in the sectors of government services and engineering and construction services. Its equity investments will amount to between $25 million and $75 million for each platform.

Champlain Advisors LLC served as the fund's exclusive global placement agent; Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer LLP was fund formation counsel.
