Chubb names execs for North American commercial insurance operations

Chubb Ltd. announced management changes within its North American commercial insurance operations.

Ben Rockwell was named vice president of Chubb Group and division president for Chubb's middle-market business. He is currently the executive vice president and chief underwriting officer of Chubb's North American small commercial insurance business.

James Williamson will become division president for Chubb's small business division. He is currently vice president of Chubb Group and division president for Chubb's North American small commercial insurance operations.

Rockwell and Williamson replace C. Scott Gunter, who is leaving the company.

Additionally, Chubb appointed Alex Wells chief underwriting officer for North American commercial insurance, succeeding Rockwell. Wells serves as executive vice president and commercial insurance regional manager for the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions.
