Goyo Intex Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2014, was a loss of 83 Japanese sen per share, compared with 65 sen per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was a loss of ¥11.3 million, compared with income of ¥8.1 million in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin dropped to negative 3.0% from 2.1% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue decreased year over year to ¥372.0 million from ¥379.0 million, and total operating expenses climbed 6.6% year over year to ¥387.0 million from ¥363.0 million.
Reported net income came to a loss of ¥20.0 million, or a loss of ¥1.48 per share, compared to income of ¥11.0 million, or 88 sen per share, in the prior-year period.
As of Feb. 12, US$1 was equivalent to ¥118.90.
