A joint venture of Comstock Holding Cos. Inc. and affiliate Comstock Partners LC purchased the nine-story Hartford building in Arlington, Va., from an affiliate of Heitman Capital Management LLC for about $128.8 million, the Washington Business Journal reported, citing Arlington County Recorder of Deeds land records.
Comstock plans to continue renovations initiated by the property's previous owner, including improvements to the building's common areas. The property recently opened two new retail outlets, an East West Coffee Wine outlet and Formula Running Center gym, the publication added.
The 211,450-square-foot building at 3101 Wilson Blvd. in Clarendon is about 90% leased, with tenants including architecture and engineering firm AECOM, the Washington Business Journal noted.
