Report: Invenergy to build 75-MW solar facility in North Carolina

Invenergy LLC is developing a 75-MW solar generating facility in Edgecombe County, N.C., according to an Aug. 5 report by the Rocky Mount (N.C.) Telegram.

According to the report, Invenergy's senior analyst of renewable development, Ryan Van Portfliet, said construction of the facility may start in 2019 and be completed in 2020.

The project is estimated to cost more than $100 million, according to the report.
