ANZ to redeem 2.5B yuan of notes

Australia & New Zealand Banking Group Ltd. will exercise its early redemption option on 2.5 billion Chinese yuan of fixed-rate subordinated notes due Jan. 30, 2025.

The notes, which were issued under the bank's US$60 billion Euro medium-term note program, will be redeemed Jan. 30.

As of Jan. 9, US$1 was equivalent to 6.93 Chinese yuan.
