First Republic chairman/CEO reappointed to Federal Advisory Council

The Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco's board appointed San Francisco-based First Republic Bank Chairman and CEO James Herbert II for a second term on the Federal Advisory Council to represent the district.

Herbert was appointed for a first term in April 2018.

The Federal Advisory Council, created by the Federal Reserve Act, meets with the Federal Reserve Board to discuss banking and economic matters. The council comprises 12 members, one from each of the 12 districts of the Fed. Members customarily serve three one-year terms.
