Apple Inc. introduced a new repair program with additional options for out-of-warranty iPhone repairs.
The tech giant will provide more independent repair businesses with the genuine parts, tools, training, repair manuals and diagnostics as its Apple Authorized Service Providers, the company said Aug. 29. The program will initially be available in the U.S., with plans to expand to other countries.
Over the past year, Apple rolled out a pilot with 20 independent repair businesses in North America, Europe and Asia.
